Woman and two daughters commit suicide in MGR Nagar
A 55-year-old woman and her two daughters allegedly committed suicide by
hanging themselves in their house in M.G.R. Nagar on Friday night.
According to police reports, the women, Usha Rani, Kalaivani (29) and
Vijayalakshmi (27), were depressed after Rani’s husband, Devarajan, was
arrested by the Cuddalore police a few days ago. The family, which also
includes Rani’s son Sivabalan, moved to Chennai a few months ago and was
staying at Alagiri Nagarar.
